you will have two inboxes: inbox, and requests. you can chat with someone who sends you a request before moving the conversation to inbox. read receipts are optional. you can delete and edit messages, but edit history is shown. you can also block users. dm chatlogs will not be visible to staff by default, but a member of the dm can report the chat to make it readable by staff. chats will also become available to staff if messages are sent that contain various illegal keywords.
